'Analyze This' opened in theaters in the U.S. on this day in 1999. Harold Ramis's mob comedy stars Robert De Niro as powerful but insecure Mafia boss Paul Vitti, who after secretly suffering anxiety attacks, seeks help from reluctant New York Psychiatrist Ben Sobel (Billy Crystal).

The movie was a hit with critics and performed well at the box office grossing $176.9 million off a budget of $30 Million. It was followed by a sequel 'Analyze That' (2002).
