Her breakout role came when she played the replicant Pris in Ridley Scott's 'Blade Runner' (1982). From here she became one of the biggest female stars of the 1980s, appearing in movies including 'Splash' (1984), 'The Pope of Greenwich Village' (1984), 'The Clan of the Cave Bear' (1986), 'Legal Eagles' (1986), 'Roxanne' (1987), 'Wall Street' (1987), 'High Spirits' (1988), 'Crimes and Misdemeanors' (1989) and 'Steel Magnolias' (1989).

More recently she has become a prominent enviromental and political activist while still making regular appearances in film and TV productions. Happy Birthday Daryl.
