'Se7en' was released in theaters in the US and Canada on this day in 1995. David Fincher's brilliant psychological crime thriller starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kevin Spacey went on to gross $100.1 million at the North American box office and $227.1 million in the rest of the world making a total of $327.2 million which oddly enough made 'Se7en' the seventh-highest grossing film in 1995!
